As problems for residents of Haiti continue to grow at an unprecedented rate, Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth has expressed interest in adopting one of the many children who have been affected by the 7.0-magnitude earthquake.  Chenoweth took to her twitter to address the issue:

"If I can't have kids of my own someday, I will adopt. Haiti maybe. I mean c'mon! This is killing me people," she posted on her Twitter page on Monday. "I wish I could adopt. I've thought long and hard. And I may still. I was adopted myself, so...."

In a recent interview with Access Hollywood's Billy Bush, the Tony-Award winning actress discussed how the recent tragedy has made her consider helping a child in need.

"It is certainly something that I am thinking about and praying about. I wouldn't be surprised if that is in my future," she told Billy. "If we can use celebrity at all in a good way, this is the time to do it." Click here to read the full report in Access Hollywood.
