Justin Bartha and cast say goodbye to PERMISSION!

HAND TO GOD's acclaimed playwright Robert Askins followed up his successful Broadway dark comedy with a brand new Off-Broadway play titled PERMISSION at MCC earlier this season and a brand new photo of leading man Justin Bartha alongside the cast prior to the final performance this weekend is now available to view.

The official Facebook page posted the pic, commenting, "A BIG thank you the Cast + Crew of PERMISSION on today's final performance. We're going to miss this crazy gang! And thanks to YOU, our amazing audience, for taking this journey with us. We've got some Texas-sized love for ya'll. - at MCC Theater at the Lucille Lortel Theatre."

The official description of PERMISSION is as follows: "Eric and Cyndy are looking for some direction. They've decided to follow the lead of their friends Zach and Shelley and make the real life practice of Christian Domestic Discipline the foundation of their marriage. But restructuring their lives and their union according to role play and a new moral code upends everything they knew--and took for granted--about one another, their friends, and more importantly, who really holds the power. Robert Askins returns to MCC Theater following the critically-acclaimed Hand to God (now on Broadway) with this new comedy about our all-too-human impulse to make order out of the chaos of modern relationships. Permission marks the MCC debut of director Alex Timbers (Peter and the Starcatcher). Performances begin April 29."

More information on PERMISSION is available at the official site here.
