Julius Caesar Stars Sadler and Walker will Make Appearance on OnStage

William Sadler and Eamonn Walker, currently starring opposite Denzel Washington in the Broadway production of Julius Caesar, will be featured on NY-1's OnStage this weekend, beginning May 21.

Sadler plays the title role in Shakespeare's historical tragedy, while Walker portrays Mark Antony.  The 30-member cast of Julius Caesar is directed by Daniel Sullivan, and also features Denzel Washington as Brutus, Colm Feore as Brutus' co-conspirator, Cassius, Jessica Hecht as Brutus' wife, Portia, Tamara Tunie as Caesar's wife, Calpurnia, and Jack Willis as Casca.

Sadler is best known for his roles in The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile and Die Hard II. Sadler's film and TV credits also include Rush, The Hot Spot, Trespass, Witness Protection, The Battle of Shaker Heights, " Roswell," "Wonderfalls" and "Law& Order: Trial by Jury." Sadler last starred on Broadway opposite Matthew Broderick in Biloxi Blues and more recently created the role of Sam Clemens in John Guare's A Few Stout Individuals and appeared in Arturo Ui with Al Pacino.

Walker's film and television credits include Unbreakable, Once in the Life, Tears of the Sun, Duma, Lord of War, HBO's "Oz" (Cable Ace Award winner), Andrew Davies' "Othello," "Whitewash: The Clarence Brandley Story," "Homicide: Life Everlasting," "Supply & Demand" and "The Governor." His theatre credits include: Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, Pecong, Anthony, Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, Ridley Walker.  He is the founder of London 's Flipside Theatre Company.

Julius Caesar is at the Belasco Theatre for an exclusive engagement of 112 performances that will end on Sunday, June 12.  The play is produced by Carole Shorenstein Hays and Freddy DeMann.

On Stage airs Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30-10:00 AM and from 7:30-8:00 PM, as well as Mondays from 9:30-10:00 PM and 12:30-1:00 AM.
