Variety reports that Tony-winner Jonathan Pryce will headline an upcoming London revival of Glengarry Glen Ross, which will open in October of 2007 and run through mid-January of 2008.

Jerry Frankel, Jeffrey Richards and Jam Theatricals, who produced the acclaimed Tony-winning 2005 Broadway revival of the play, will produce it in London, along with Ron Kastner and Mark Rubinstein.  Neither a theatre nor specific dates have been announced.

Pryce will play Shelley Levine, portrayed by Alan Alda in the Broadway revival.

James Macdonald (Drunk Enough to Say I Love You) will direct the classic play, which follows a group of ambitious salesmen and their somewhat crooked schemes of success.

Pryce, a Tony-winner for Comedians and Miss Saigon, was last seen on Broadway in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. He has appeared in London in various productions such as Oliver!, My Fair Lady, Cabaret, and The Goat or Who Is Sylvia?  In addition to his stage appearances, he is also been seen in such films as Pirates Of The Caribbean, The Brothers Grimm, De-Lovely, What A Girl Wants, Evita, Glengarry Glen Ross and over 40 more, plus television appearances.
