John Galliano to Make Margiela Debut in London

John Galliano made fashion waves this week when he announced that he will make his debut as creative director of Maison Martin Margiela in London this January, weeks ahead of Paris Couture Fashion Week.
WWD reported that the statement read Margiela's "artisanal range for women would be presented 'exceptionally' in London and 'around tea time' on the day."
Galliano has already been making his presence known in the London fashion scene. Last week he presented the Outstanding Achievement Award to Anna Wintour at the British Fashion Awards. Wintour, a longtime supporter of the designer, wore a custon Margiela dress.

Margiela's "exceptional" show will walk on January 12th at 3pm, at the tale end of London Men's Fashion Week. Margiela's men's show is set for January 23rd in Paris.
