Emerging playwright John Doble, whose one-act plays COFFEE HOUSE, GREENWICH VILLAGE and A SERIOUS PERSON were Finalists for Best Play in 2012 and 2013 at Midwinter Madness and Manhattan Rep, respectively, will be represented at the 14th Annual Midtown InterNational Theatre Festival this summer with A SERIOUS PERSON AND THEN SOME, an evening of three one-act plays including A SERIOUS PERSON and COFFEE HOUSE, GREENWICH VILLAGE, as well as TATYANA AND THE CABLE MAN. Produced by Michael Palmer in association with the Midtown InterNational Theatre Festival, A SERIOUS PERSON AND THEN SOME will play five performances only beginning Tuesday, July 16th.

A SERIOUS PERSON
A man meets a beautiful woman with outlandish opinions about everything under the sun, including evolution.

TATYANA AND THE CABLE MAN
When cultures collide, sparks can fly. Or even ignite?

COFFEE HOUSE, GREENWICH VILLAGE
On a blind date in a Greenwich Village coffee shop, a beautiful young women gradually leads an ordinary young man to confront his dark side.

A SERIOUS PERSON AND THEN SOME will be performed at The Jewel Box Theater (312 West 36th Street, 4th Floor) from Tuesday, July 16th - Sunday, July 28th as part of the 14th Annual Midtown InterNational Theatre Festival.

THE MIDTOWN INTERNational Theatre FESTIVAL's 2013 Season runs from July 15th - August 4th at the June Havoc Theatre, 312 West 36th Street, 1st floor; the Dorothy Strelsin Theatre, 312 West 36th Street, 1st floor; the Main Stage Theatre, 312 West 36th Street, 4th floor; and the Jewel Box Theatre, 312 West 36th Street, 4th floor.
