Joey Fatone to Join Cast of ROCK OF AGES in Las Vegas

By:

This winter, the smash-hit musical ROCK OF AGES takes Las Vegas audiences even higher with the debut of its first-ever celebrity guest, TV host and entertainer Joey Fatone. Fatone will join the talented cast for a limited engagement as legendary Bourbon Room owner, Dennis Dupree, beginning Feb. 20 at The Venetian Las Vegas. Tickets for ROCK OF AGES can be purchased by visiting The Venetian Box Office, calling (866) 641-7469, or online at www.RockOfAgesVegas.com.

"I'm thrilled for the opportunity to party with the cast of ROCK OF AGES in Las Vegas," said Fatone. "I have been a big fan of ROCK OF AGES since the beginning, and having the opportunity to make my return to the stage with this production starring as Dennis Dupree is going to be a rockin' ride!"

A celebrated member of the world famous music group, 'N Sync, Fatone has had continued success within the film and television industries. Additionally, Fatone's limited engagement with ROCK OF AGES marks his return to the theatrical stage after more than a decade. Fatone made his Broadway debut as "Mark Cohen" in RENT in 2002 and also performed the role of "Seymour" in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS in 2004.

"We are delighted for Joey to become a part of the ROCK OF AGES Las Vegas family," said Scott Armstrong, Vice President and Managing Producer. "He is a dynamic performer whose talents and charisma are undeniable, making him a perfect fit for this role."

Following the final bows of ROCK OF AGES on Broadway on Jan. 18, 2015, Las Vegas now serves as the only location to witness this high octane production in the United States. Fatone will perform alongside the Las Vegas cast through April 2015. Cast member Troy Burgess, who originated the role of "Dennis Dupree" in Las Vegas, will return to the role at the conclusion of Fatone's engagement. ROCK OF AGES is a hilarious, feel-good love story celebrating the great rock songs of the '80s including such sing-out-loud songs as "Don't Stop Believing," "Here I Go Again," "Wanted Dead or Alive," "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," and more. Set in L.A.'s infamous Sunset Strip in 1987, ROCK OF AGES tells the story of Drew, a boy from South Detroit, and Sherrie, a small-town girl, both in L.A. to chase their dreams of making it big and falling in love. ROCK OF AGES takes you back to the times of big bands with big egos playing big guitar solos and sporting even bigger hair!

Ticket prices for ROCK OF AGES range from $56 - $145 plus all applicable taxes and fees. For groups of 10 or more, please call (866) 633-0195 or Groups@BASEentertainment.com. For more information please visit www.RockofAgesVegas.com.
