On Monday, June 4th at 7 PM, Jim Caruso & Friends...A One Man Show will be presented as part of Broadway at Birdland. Four-time MAC Award-winner and "Cast Party" open mic host Caruso joins the previously-announced June roster of Sunday and Monday night concerts featuring top Broadway stars and theater songwriters, including talents such as Capathia Jenkins, Malcolm Gets, Tom Kitt & Amanda Green, Jack Donahue and Todd Londagin. Stephanie J. Block (The Pirate Queen) will appear as a special guest with Caruso.

Press notes state, "Award-winning singer/comedian/host Jim Caruso brings his act out of mothballs and into Birdland on June 4th with Johnny Rodgers on piano and vocals.  The show will feature songs by Johnny Mercer, Weird Al Yankovich, John Wallowitch, Fred Ebb, Carol Hall, Dave Frishberg, and will include an homage to Jim's personal hero, Dick Van Dyke," continuing, "Caruso was the founding member of the jazz vocal and comedy trio Wiseguys, appearing with Liza Minnelli in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, the United Nations and Central Park, and with Rosemary Clooney at Carnegie Hall."
