A little slice of summer is coming to one of Seattle's prominent comedy stages, and it's not just because of this winter's warm weather.

Jet City Improv will present the world premier of Good Morning Campers - an improvised play that lets audiences re-live the wonders of summer camp without any of the homesickness.

Every audience at Good Morning Campers can expect to join in on Camp Twin Lakes' songs and games as they live vicariously through improvised stories of first kisses, second chances, and lasting friendships that happen on-stage based on their suggestions.

"For many folks, summer camp is a rite of passage," says director Chris Dewar. "If you happened to miss out on it the first time around, or if you are feeling nostalgic for the good old days, don't you fret, because we got your quintessential summer camp experience covered."

The cast features a collection of improvisers and comedians from across Seattle: Britney Barber, Jeremy Brown, Margaret Erickson, Kaela McVicker, Randy Miller, Daniel Radoll, Molly Tollefson, and Laura Turner.

Good Morning Campers runs Thursday and Friday nights from March 5-20 with a special opening night gala on March 5 featuring a Q&A with the actors followed by complimentary cake and champagne. Tickets are $15 for general admission, $12 (with ID) for students, seniors, and military personnel and TPS members.

Jet City Improv is dedicated to enlightening, educating and entertaining audiences through the art of improvisation. Over the course of any given month, shows may include unscripted plays, their flagship Jet City Improv show, and their popular improvised re-dubbed film events known as Twisted Flicks. Jet City Improv also works to fulfill its mission with a 40-week improv training curriculum (known as the Jet City Improv Academy) as well as outreach work that provides free performances and workshops to homeless and incarcerated youth in Seattle and physically ill children around the state of Washington. All Jet City Improv productions, classes and outreach programs operate out of a bright yellow theater in the University District of Seattle Washington and are produced by Wing-It Productions, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
