Irvington Town Hall Theater's Stage Door series, which presents readings of new works in progress in a relaxed setting without sets, costumes, or props, will soon present a fresh new musical of the story of Peter Pan called "Wendy's Shadow" created by the team of David Maglione and Tomas Ruiz and Jason Cannon tonight, November 24 at 7:30pm. The reading will be directed by Jonathan Sang, with musical direction by Kristen Dziuba, and stage management by Ashley Newman.

Goodbye means going away, and going away means forgetting. So what happens when the one who left... remembers you? The mischievous and magical adventure of Peter Pan is retold from Wendy's modern-day perspective with a contemporary folk/rock score. With Music and Lyrics by Maglione and Ruiz and Book by Jason Cannon, WENDY'S SHADOW takes the audience back to the Neverland-where dreams are born, and time is never planned-and asks if it's ever possible to leave the one you loved.

The cast will include: Jessica Hendy (Wendy Darling), Spencer Kiely (Peter Pan), Monet Julia Sabel (Young Wendy/Jane), Kelly Karcher (Tinker Bell), Ambe Williams (Nibs), Christian Lane Green (Slightly/Ensemble), Paul Pilcz (Curly/Ensemble), Blane Pressler (Captain Hook/Ensemble), Julie Galorenzo (Smee/Ensemble), and Vinnie Urdea (Ensemble).

This new Monday night reading series hosts productions heading to NYC-- stopping by Irvington with a group of professional actors who will present these pieces complete with a talk-back session with the creative team.
