Janine Van den Ende Joins Stage Entertainmet Advisory Board

The Supervisory Board of Stage Entertainment announces its decision to increase the number of members and has welcomed Janine van den Ende as new member per the current new theatre season.

The appointment underlines Janine van den Ende's personal commitment with the theatre company founded by her husband as well as the wish to anchor the specific family character of the company for the future.

The Supervisory Board further expects to announce the name of the successor of Wim Dik who has put his membership at disposal in accordance with the code of resignation. The Supervisory Board currently consists of Joop Van Den Ende (president), Ewald Kist, Aat Schouwenaar, Janine van den Ende and a vacancy for the successor of Wim Dik.

The Board of Directors consisting of Henk Kivits (CEO), Siebe van Elsloo (CFO) and Erwin van Lambaart (CCO, Chief Content Officer) is responsible for the daily operations of Stage Entertainment.

Stage Entertainment was founded in 1998 by Joop Van Den Ende and currently holds offices and 25 theatres in eight countries. The yearly turnover resulting from musical productions, Holiday on Ice shows and various events totals 550 million euro. The company also has ambitions to continue developing and presenting its own musical titles like Petticoat, Ciske de Rat, Sister Act, Ich war noch niemals in New York and Hinterm Horizont, besides international titles by partners like Disney. Among the latest productions are Droomvlucht in cooperation with theme park De Efteling, Hazes and Sleepless in Seattle. The last two titles are based on the successful films of the same name.
