Jane Lynch, Billy Porter Set for TrevorLIVE New York, 6/17

Jane Lynch will host "TrevorLIVE New York" on Monday, June 17, 2013, presented by Audi of America and Wells Fargo at Chelsea Piers in New York. Broadway's Michael Wilson will be the Special Guest Director of the show, which includes Tony nominated performer Billy Porter, Sara Bareilles, DJ Kiss with more talent to be announced. The Trevor Project's signature annual event brings together top entertainers, advocates and corporate leaders to support the organization's life-saving, life-affirming work for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth in crisis. Jane Lynch is currently on the Great White Way starring as Miss Hannigan in Annie. She will next be seen hosting NBC's newest game show hit, Hollywood Game Night, produced by Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner later this summer. Jane recently wrapped the fourth season of the Ryan Murphy FOX television series Glee, portraying the iconic television character Sue Sylvester, for which she is an Emmy and Golden Globe recipient. Recent credits include the Starz series Party Down, the Lifetime original series, Lovespring, Desperate Housewives and Weeds, in addition to the The L Word opposite Cybill Shepherd from seasons 2-6.

Michael Wilson is currently represented on Broadway in the Tony nominated revival of Horton Foote's, The Trip to Bountiful, starring 2010 Trevor Hero Award honoree, Vanessa Williams. His other work on Broadway includes last season's Tony nominated Gore Vidal's The Best Man (with The Trevor Project co-founder James Lecesne playing the role of Dick Jensen), Dividing The Estate, Enchanted April, and Old Acquaintance. Off-Broadway, Michael directed the three-part nine-hour Epic The Orphans' Home Cycle for which he received the 2010 Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle awards. He has served as director at our nation's major theaters, including: the Lincoln Center Theater, Roundabout Theater Company, Playwrights Horizons, Primary Stages, New York Stage & Film and the Hartford Stage, where he was Artistic Director from 1998 to 2011. Internationally, Michael directed Tony Kushner's Angels in America at the Venice Biennale. In August, Michael will stage the premiere of Horton Foote's The Old Friends at Off-Broadway's Signature Theater.

As previously announced, Cindy McCain will be honored at the event with the Trevor Hero Award, to be presented by her daughter Meghan McCain. Young, openly gay mountaineer Cason Crane will be honored with the Trevor Youth Innovator Award, and Wells Fargo will be honored with the Trevor 20/20 Visionary Award.
