ImprovBoston's original sketch and musical comedy revue Comedy, America! unites Boston's top sketch writing and performing talent. A tribute to the founding fathers and the greatest country on earth, Comedy, America! finds the ridiculous in America's past and present, from the rootin' tootin' Old West to the hip teens of the 1950s; from the unexpectedly complicated Salem witch trials to the magical world of Disney.

An extravaganza of sketches and original songs to keep audiences laughing, Comedy, America! serves up equal parts satire and celebration just in time for America's birthday. Comedy, America! adds to ImprovBoston's canon of popular seasonal sketch showcases including Gorefest and the Holiday Spectacular.

Kevin Quigley and Allen McRae, two veteran sketch writers, lead the creative force behind Comedy, America! McRae says, "Our intent is to create a show as awesome, absurd, smart, and idiotic as the actual good old US of A."

Part of ImprovBoston's "Summer of Sketch" showcase series, Comedy, America! follows on the heels of the sold-out Death Wish: A Choose Your Own Adventure Sketch Comedy Show and leads into the anticipated return of Best of Boston Sketch Comedy Showcase in August.

Comedy, America! runs Fridays at 10pm from June 6 to July 4. Tickets are $18, $14 students at the door and available online at improvboston.com
