Little Italy's famed IL CORTILE RISTORANTE (www.ilcortile.com) has planned a special event in February that will excite and delight the senses of food and music lovers anywhere! The event – entitled AN EVENING OF GREAT MUSIC AND FOOD – will take place on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 7 PM.  The star performers will be popular singer/actress Jenna Esposito, a soprano who has built a loyal following as a result of her sold-out performances at venues across America, and renowned Meistersinger Caranza, whose tenor voice has thrilled audiences in cities all over the world for more than 25 years.

The evening will begin at 7 PM with dinner from Il Cortile's regular menu. Located at 125 Mulberry Street, Il Cortile is known for its fine Italian cuisine and wines and has been a Little Italy staple since 1975. It has been praised for its "award winning cuisine" by the James Beard Foundation, described as "easily the best restaurant in Little Italy" by Fodor's, and described in Zagat's as "dining on Little Italy's best food in a romantic indoor garden."

Following dinner, the musical entertainment will begin at approximately 8 PM with Jenna Esposito, supported by Fortune Esposito on guitar, and Caranza welcoming everyone with a duet or two. They will then perform alone – and together – presenting musical numbers from their individual repertoires, including selections from the American Songbook, Italian folk songs, operatic arias, German lieder, as well as songs originally performed by their favorite pop singers, including Connie Francis (Jenna) and Frank Sinatra (Caranza).

There is a $20 music charge. Reservations: Call 212-226-6060 or visit: www.ilcortile.com
