Read on for all the weekly grosses statistics for the movers and shakers from the latest grosses, 12/7/2014. Of note this week, The Tony Award®-winning Best Musical, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, is now the highest grossing production in the storied history of the Walter Kerr Theatre. With a cumulative gross of $39,455,756 as of Sunday, December 6, 2014, it has just surpassed the previous record-holder, A Little Night Music ($38,704,673.50). Last month, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder celebrated the 1 Year Anniversary of its opening night, and its Original Broadway Cast Recording was just nominated for the 2015 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album. Jordan Roth, the President and Principal Owner of Jujamcyn Theaters, which owns and operates the Water Kerr Theatre, said, "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder follows in a long line of beloved and award-winning productions that have made the Walter Kerr what it is.
