Cafe manager and performer Laurie Oudin elaborates: "The cafe did come about as a result of Andrew, and although we didn't live in the tent cities, we visited them every day for ice and supplies, housed 20 people in our home, and were without electricity for 3 months." Now Main Street Cafe, considered by many to be the best musical venue in Florida, wants to help others, as they themselves were helped in their time in need.
