Hasbro & The Araca Group To Bring MONOPOLY THE MUSICAL to Broadway Stage

Hasbro, Inc. and The Araca Group, a leading Broadway producing company that also supplies commercial brand extension in all aspects of the entertainment industry, today announced a partnership to bring Hasbro properties to life on stage. Araca will be adapting the world's favorite family gaming brand, MONOPOLY, for Broadway. MONOPOLY THE MUSICAL, Hasbro's first-ever Broadway production, is currently finalizing its creative team and will announce further details shortly.

Araca's producing history includes such Broadway hits as Urinetown, Frankie and Johnny in the Claire de Lune with Edie Falco and Stanley Tucci, A View from the Bridge with Liev Schrieber and Scarlett Johannsson and the Pulitzer Prize Winner Disgraced as well as co-producing such iconic productions asWicked, and the Tony Award winning Boeing, Boeing, A Raisin in the Sun, and Skylight. This license from Hasbro coincides with the recent launch of Araca Media & Entertainment, a new content division focused on adapting iconic brands and franchises into live events around the world.
