Harlem Stage is looking for a few outstanding male and female vocalists to perform as part of Soul: Remixed, Revisited, Reconstructed.

Join us as emerging talents remix, revisit and reconstruct classic albums and songs from the soul movement of the 1990's and 2000's. Led by musical director and arranger Marc Cary and backed by a powerhouse band, contemporary soulsters: ArinMaya, The Crowd, TreZure Empire and winners from Harlem Stage's "Got Soul?" vocal competition will take us on a musical journey that will celebrate the poignancy of the era and artists like D'Angelo, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Musiq, Bilal, Lauryn Hill and more, while offering an exciting glimpse of the future.

Audition Date & Time: Thursday, January 20, 1-6pm
Location: Harlem Stage Gatehouse, 150 Convent Avenue, NY, NY 10031

Please send an email to seccleston@harlemstage.org by Thursday, January 13 with the following information:
1. Your most recent bio
2. A hi res photo
3. A link to your online work sample

Applicants selected for an audition will be contacted by phone on Friday, January 14, 2011.

Applicants selected for an audition should come prepared to perform two selections:
1 cover from the 90's-00's soul movement
1 original song

CD playback or DI plug-ins will be provided for auditions.
