By:

Modern dance has been synonymous with the 92nd Street Y since its dance center (now known as the Harkness Dance Center) was first created in 1934. Now, in recognition of 75 illustrious and influential years of dance, they're hosting a special retrospective this fall at the 92nd Street Y's Milton J. Weill Art Gallery. Relive the rise of modern dance in America through the history of one of its most storied institutions.

The exhibit is ongoing. Admission is free.

92nd Street Y is located at 1395 Lexington Avenue (Lexington Av/92 St) New York, NY 10128.
