The upcoming film version of Hairspray will be profiled on this weekend's "Breakfast with the Arts," airing on A&E on October 29th from 8 AM to 10 AM.

Karina Huber, who hosts the show, will chat with producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, as well as Amanda Bynes, the film's Penny Pingleton.

"This morning Karina Huber is on location at the 31st annual Toronto International Film Festival, talking with the stars who attended, what many say, has become one of the most significant film festivals in the world and the first stop on the race to Oscar," state notes on the show's other segments.

"Jude Law, Robin Wright Penn and Juliette Binoche discuss their experience working with renowned director Anthony Minghella in the new multi-faceted romantic drama, Breaking and Entering; we get an inside look at the highly awaited film-musical Hairspray from the producers of Chicago, and starring Amanda Bynes; Kate Winslet and Patrick Wilson discuss the new drama Little Children; and we're on the Red Carpet with Reese Withersoon, Brad Pitt, Christina Ricci, Christopher Guest, Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony, Penelope Cruz, Vince Vaughn, and Will Ferrell."

Opening in theaters in July of 2007, the Hairspray film is directed by Adam Shankman and will also feature John Travolta as Edna Turnblad, Christopher Walken as Wilbur Turnblad, Allison Janney as Prudy Pingleton, Queen Latifah as Motormouth Maybelle, Michelle Pfeiffer as Velma Von Tussle, Brittany Snow as Amber Von Tussle, Zac Efron as Link Larkin, Elijah Kelley as Seaweed, James Marsden as Corny Collins, and newcomer Nikki Blonksy as Tracy Turnblad, who helps to integrate a Baltimore dance show-and wins the heart of Link in the process.
