Gurland and Driscoll Share Stage at Rose's Turn, May 21

Upstairs at Rose's Turn (55 Grove St.) will present present award-winning artists David Gurland and Randi Driscoll for one night only, Sunday, May 21 at 8PM.
The performers return to the West Village following their sold out performance at The Duplex this April. Friends for over twenty years, Gurland and Driscoll will split the bill in an hour of musical entertainment with original songs written and performed by Driscoll and an array of pop tunes performed by Gurland accompanied by Tim Di Pasqua.Gurland has performed in such New York venues as BB Kings, Downtime, The Bitter End, The Cutting Room, The Living Room, CB's Gallery, FEZ, The Encore, Don't Tell Mama, The Duplex, The Triad, as well The Gardenia in LA, Twiggs in San Diego and The Manor in NJ. He has also been featured in Carnegie Hall's Neighborhood Concert series for two seasons in a row. For his nightclub and cabaret performances, David has won the Manhattan Association of Cabaret's Hanson Award, as well as having been nominated an additional five times. Gurland has also won three Back Stage Bistro Awards, more than any other Male Vocalist. Last fall, he and award winning vocalist Julie Reyburn, premiered their first full "co" show after trying it out "out of town" at Odette's. His most recent show was Neurotica, an all-Madonna mini-rock concert.
