 The West Bank Café has announced upcoming performances to be presented in The Laurie Beechman Theatre. The West Bank Café is located at 407 West 42nd. St., at Ninth Avenue.

This summer, the theatre is proud to announce a new line-up of performers and performances, all of which will take place in the eighty seat venue.

Please note there is a $15 food and/or beverage minimum at each performance, with the exception of The After Party. All major credit cards are accepted.

The After Party
Every Friday from 10:30pm to 2am
No cover, no minimum
"This weekly open-mic schmoozefest for the theatrically inclined has become the hit of midtown, hosted by iron-lunged Brandon Cutrell and Alysha Umphress, with Ray Fellman at the keys and Lisa Asher behind the bar (her pour is as ferocious as her belt). Come hang and belt out a showtune or two. No cover, no minimum. You never know who might drop by," state press notes.

"Fresh from the role of Mimi in the Philadelphia Kimmel Center's production of La Boheme, Shira Lissek  brings you three nights of Broadway, jazz and originals. Having performed solo shows and pops concerts all over the country, Shira debuts her new show, 'Home,' finding her way back to Broadway and the music that originally inspired her to sing. Musical director Ray Fellman and percussionist Justin Hines join her to cross music industry lines to bring you an evening of fantastic music and storytelling."

"Joe Iconis & Gaby Alter: Songs That Don't Suck"

"Iconis (2007 Kleban Award; 2006 Larson Award; writer of MCC's The Black Suits) and Alter (San Fransisco Bay Area Theater Critics' Circle Award; NYC Fringe Festival Songwriting Award) are a couple of musical theater dudes who know how to bang a piano almost as well as they know how to write well-crafted and earth-shatteringly catchy songs. Bowery Bums at heart, the boys are happy to be bringing their ragtag melodies and ornery banter uptown.
