Jonathan Fielding (Broadway's Pygmalion, The Seagull) and Carrie Heitman (Off-Broadway's Phallacy) star in the New York premiere of Thomas Ward's International Falls, a dark comedy about a stand-up comedian and a hotel desk clerk, directed by Daniel Hubbard. Greyman Theatre Company's inaugural New York production begins performances Feb. 27 at The Tank and continues its limited engagement through March 9.

According to Greyman, "International Falls explores what happens when a man who makes jokes about his own life meets someone who forces him to examine the truth behind them. Unhappy with his life and his marriage, yet touring the country trying to make people laugh, Tim meets Dee, an equally unhappy wife and mother working as a front desk receptionist at a hotel in International Falls, Minn. When they end up in bed together after his show, what begins as an unassuming one-night stand turns into an unexpected connection as two comedians, one burned out and one aspiring, discuss their insecurities, relationships, and comedy acts."

Ward's other plays include Keeping Watch, Going with Jenny (co-written with Sherry Jo Ward), and Binge. He co-wrote the screenplay of the independent feature film Sironia starring Jeremy Sisto, Carrie Preston, and Tony Hale. As an actor, Ward was last seen in New York in The Unseen Off-Broadway at the Cherry Lane Theatre.
