Grey Gardens: From East Hampton to Broadway, the new documentary film by East of Doheny with AlBert Maysles that has already reached cult status during its rollout of limited coast-to-coast screenings, will once again be screened – this time at the Provincetown International Film Festival – beginning Friday (6/20/08) at 6:30 p.m.
The film will have two additional screenings at the Festival – Saturday, June 21 at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, June 22 at 7:00 p.m. The Friday and Saturday screenings will be followed by a discussion with the musical's composer Scott Frankel and book writer Doug Wright.Grey Gardens: From East Hampton to Broadway unfolds the creative journey of AlBert Maysles' cult classic, Grey Gardens, from non-fiction film to legendary Broadway musical.
