Next month, Broadway Speaks? OUT! Will be kicking off their new educational featuring a bevy of industry leaders.

The first class to be offered will be an Audition Techniques class, instructed byJamie McGonnigal (Producer and director of more than 100 Broadway events, founding producer of the New York Musical Theatre Festival and voice over artist featured on The Cartoon Network, Fox, PBS, WB and more). The class will be moderated by McGonnigal and feature industry guests such as Amanda Green - Jonathan Larson Award-Winner, Writer, High Fidelity, Cady Huffman, Tony Award Winner for The Producers, Christopher Gattelli - Director/Choreographer, Altar Boys, 13, South Pacific, Sunday in the Park with George, Cindi Rush - casting director, Meredith Patterson - Actor, Boston Legal, Princess Diaries, White Christmas, Randy Redd - Actor, Parade, Ring of Fire, Composer- What's That Smell, Sara Schatz, casting director, Jay Binder Casting, Shonn Wiley - Actor, Jersey Boys, Disney's Confessions of a Shopaholic, and Vinnie Potestivo - Owner, Vinnie Potestivo Entertainment, former head of MTV's East Coast Casting and Talent Development

Through this four-week workshop, we will be working with students in the class on not just selection of the proper material, but on everything that is presented in the audition from start to finish.

As many of us know, we are being judged from the second our foot steps through that door. Many people out there have incredible talent and many even know how to showcase it well, but far too few know how to make the people behind the table WANT to work with them.

The classes will take place on Wednesday, March 3rd, Wednesday, March 10th, Tuesday, March 16th and Wednesday, March 24th at Space on White, 81 White Street, New York, NY. Classes are $25 each and it is recommended that students take all four classes for the most well-rounded experience at a combined cost of $100.

The proceeds from the tuition for the classes will benefit Lamba Legal, the oldest and largest national organization committed to achieving full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people and those with HIV through impact litigation, education and public policy work.

Space is extremely limited, so if you are interested please sign up as soon as possibly by e-mailing contact.broadwayspeaksOUT@gmail.com
