Graceland Performing Arts Camp Features Opportunity For Participants To Be In A Hallmark Channel Movie As recently announced, Elvis Presley's Graceland will be the filming location for a new, original Hallmark Channel movie, "Christmas at Graceland," starring country music sensation Kellie Pickler.

Graceland is pleased to announce that its inaugural Performing Arts Camp, July 18-22, will now feature an exclusive opportunity for participants (ages 6-15) to be in a scene of the movie and watch the filmmakers and production team in action as they shoot this holiday-themed film at Graceland in July. Campers will be able to experience the making of a real Hollywood production, adding an entirely new dimension to the performing arts camp experience. This is the first film to be shot at Graceland's new entertainment and exhibit complex, Elvis Presley's Memphis.

In addition to participating in the Hallmark Channel movie production, camp attendees will explore their talents in workshops on stage at The Guest House at Graceland Theater and on actual production sets featured in the acclaimed "Sun Records" TV series. Campers will also develop their own showcase, culminating in an evening of performances on stage at The Guest House Theater for family and friends.

During the camp experience, each participant will follow in the footsteps of Elvis Presley, as they explore the Graceland campus, including the Elvis Presley's Memphis and The Guest House at Graceland resort. They'll tour Elvis' legendary home and learn how he became the greatest entertainer of all time - in the studio, on stage, and on the big screen. Movie screenings, pool parties, and other camp activities will take place over the four days, in addition to the performing arts workshops and creative sessions.

While participants are having fun during the day, parents and other family members can enjoy Graceland activities, Memphis attraction tours, movies in the theater, and poolside relaxation at The Guest House, reuniting with their children in the evening for family dinners and activities.

There is very limited availability for the inaugural Graceland Performing Arts Camp experience, which includes four nights at The Guest House at Graceland resort hotel, meals, and camp activities for an all-inclusive price. To get more details visit Graceland.com/Camp or call 901.332.3322.
