I'm going to be real honest with you, Gleeks - I'm not quite sure what to say to intro this week's recap - I could reference "Only A Older Woman" from Boy from Oz because of Shirley MacLaine being involved in helping make Mr. Blaine Warbler into a star, but how many of you would get that reference? So, let's just get on with the show and see where the stars take us, shall we? Now, quiet please, there's a lady up there. Yes, another Boy from Oz reference - look it up, especially given Hugh Jackman is our Tony 2014 host!

Rachel is soaking in the stardom of being a Broadway diva - autographs, photos, rumors of a Tony nomination. Rachel has signed with a fancy high power agent who doesn't seem to think that Rachel has much of a future beyond Fanny, leaving the Broadway diva shocked. Kurt informs Blaine that a wealthy socialite (Shirley MacLaine) is coming, and he's been picked to perform for her - and he's recruiting his fiancé to join him in singing "Story of My Life" by One Direction. Santana and Mercedes chat as Mercedes laments about how her record company doesn't hear her sound, while Santana laments having no real direction, thus prompting Mercedes to ask Santana to help her with her music - channel the power of "River Deep, Mountain High" y'all. Rachel goes about her Broadway schedule, while performing "Wake Me Up" by Avicii as she ponders her future beyond Fanny, which seems empty. After the show, Rachel is approached by someone from FOX about auditioning for a pilot for them, but the audition is happening at the same time as a performance, leaving our Broadway diva with a big dilemma. ..Does this diva need her stage or is she seeing the glitz and glamour of Hollywood?

Rachel meets with Sidney, the producer of Funny Girl, and tries to find a way to get out of her performance, but Sidney is less than willing to let his leading lady take a night off. Santana and Mercedes are trying to make sweet music in the studio, but the harmony isn't clicking. Santana suggests a change of venue - less studio structure, more New York vibe, which triggers a performance of "Doo Wop (That Thing)" by Lauryn Hill with Mercedes and Satan - er - Santana killing it. ..That thing, that thing, ladies - is fierce as hell. The magic has flowed, and the producer decides to record the last song in the space they've come to find. Rachel turns to Kurt about the offer to audition for the pilot, and despite Kurt's best efforts, Rachel moves forward to lie to her producer and audition. June Dolloway (Shirley MacLaine) gets her honor at NYADA, as Kurt and Blaine take to the stage with "Story of My Life" #klainedirection. June loves what she's heard, and is ready to make a diamond out of the rough, but Kurt is surprised when June is taken with Blaine over him.

Blaine prepares for the night out with June with Kurt's help, and feels badly leaving his better half out of everything. At the charity event, June has to put on a little song dance to get people to donate - by performing "Piece of My Heart" with help from her new protégé at her side. The cash rolls in as June and Blaine dazzle the audience with their performance, and it seems a new star is on the rise. Mercedes proposes the idea of making her final song a duet with Santana, but the producer isn't exactly on board with the idea. Santana, although appreciative, backs out on the idea leaving Mercedes flat. Rachel fakes it up on the phone to her producer, and she pulls it off - from the lot of her audition. ..Rachel, you are in danger, girl!

Rachel meets with the network and her possible leading man, and what better way to wow a room than with a little Midler, am I right? Rachel sings "The Rose" to an audience of executives who seem to be less than thrilled with her choice of performance piece, but Ms. Berry pushes on despite the awkward audience. The news come out that the TV pilot is not a musical, leaving Rachel embarrassed, and confused by the concept as she begins to read with her possible leading man, it becomes clear this is totally not the project for Diva Berry. After the hellish audition, Rachel calls Sidney back - after his fifteen missed calls, giving him her full appreciation for her role, only to find that her understudy is hurt and she must go on. ..Can Ms. Berry make it back in time for curtain up? Bum, bum, bum!

Blaine and June brunch as June plans out the possibilities for Blaine, who wants Kurt involved, but June is not on board for Kurt's involvement and gives Blaine some food for thought. Rachel panics as she's stuck in traffic and calls Kurt for help, who is beside himself to help his bestie. Mercedes arrives at the Spotlight Diner with a contract for Santana to sign to get her back on board with their song. Kurt arrives in a huff determined to help Rachel, which leads to Santana, in full costume, ready to go on. Rachel thanks Santana for saving her butt the night before, but she's out of the clear and has to meet with her producers. Santana's frozen heart begins to melt as she explains to Rachel that she's decided to use her bitch powers for good, and protect her friends - including Rachel. Rachel is afraid of what the meeting may lead, but Santana gives her a push to think no matter what, she'll get back up again.

Blaine and Kurt spend some much needed time together as June has been commanding a lot of his attention, and Blaine explains that they're planning a concert and leaves out how June doesn't want Kurt involved, and basically involves Kurt any way. Rachel meets with Sidney and is very lucky when Sidney lets her keep her job, but not without some serious tough words to back it up. The hot shot agent calls to tell Rachel that the project she auditioned for was wrong for her, but a development deal is happening pairing Rachel with a writer to create a TV show for her - all from the comforts of New York.

Seems things are off to the races - Rachel has options, Blaine has possibility, and we're all lucky to share in their big moments. Until next week, Gleeks!
