Geva Holds Auditions for Spring Season 10/27

By:

Geva Theatre Center will be holding Equity musical and dramatic auditions and non-Equity musical auditions for both singers and actors 18 years of age or older on Wednesday, October 27 from 10:30am to 6:30pm.

As well as looking for Equity actors for Over the Tavern, Radio Golf and The Music Man, we are particularly looking for non-Equity men and women for the ensemble of The Music Man.

Members of Actors' Equity will need to prepare 16 bars of music and bring sheet music in the correct key, as well as two contrasting monologues. All material should not exceed a total of four minutes. Members of Actors' Equity must make an appointment by phoning (585) 232-1366.

Non-Equity members should bring 16 bars of music and bring sheet music in the correct key, as well as a short monologue not to exceed one-minute in length. Non-Equity members should call (585) 232-1366 and sign up for an audition slot on a first come, first served basis. Non-Equity actors who have auditioned for Geva within the past twelve months are ineligible for these general auditions.

Auditions will take place at Geva Theatre Center, 75 Woodbury Blvd. An accompanist will be provided. All auditionees must bring a headshot and resume.

Children's auditions for Over the Tavern and The Music Man will be held at a later date.
