George Dixon Joins Rev. Mary's Blues Jam This Sunday

After a rousing event in February, REV. MARY'S BLUES JAM featuring Granny's Blue-Mers, returns to the West End Lounge, this Sunday, March 18 from 8:00 - 11:00 p.m. Once again, aside from her line-up of exciting blues entertainers, Rev. Mary invites singers and acoustic musicians to join her on the stage of the West End. Sign up for open mic (song leaders) is at 7:30 p.m.

Blues and jazz performer, George Dixon, will be joining Rev. Mary, Dan Furman, Mario Claudio, and A.C. Weingarten this Sunday.

Born in Jamaica West Indies, George Dixon, performed Jazz, Blues and Calypso standards at some of NYC's legendary cabarets and clubs, including the Village Gate and Danny's Skylight Room, as well as an acclaimed one-man show at Don't Tell Mama, the Bitter End, and Kenny's Castaways.

The Blues Jam is an acoustic blues open-mic featuring Rev. Mary as Emcee. The evening is open to all blues musicians and singers.

Bring your voice, your acoustic instruments, your friends ... and your blues to The West End Lounge, 955 West End Avenue (at 107th Street), NYC and join the Rev. And George for a hot night.
