Queen Elizabeth has unveiled her Honours List for 2016, and stage and screen star Imelda Staunton, who just starred in the West End in GYPSY, is among those lauded for their contributions to drama.

Talks are underway to bring London's Staunton-led production of GYPSY to Broadway. Among Staunton's other West End credits are GOOD PEOPLE, SWEENEY TODD, GUYS AND DOLLS, INTO THE WOODS and more. She recently appeared on the big screen in PRIDE and the HARRY POTTER films.

Other entertainment notables on the list (which you can peruse in full here) include THE QUEEN screenwriter and THE AUDIENCE playwright Peter Morgan, actor Idris Elba, actress Barbara Windsor, actress Sian Phillips, actor James Nesbitt, actor David Oyelowo and more.

A whopping 1,196 honorees received titles for the New Year. Be sure to check back in June for the Queen's Birthday Honours list!
