According to DigitalSpy.com, GLEE's Matthew Morrison has hinted that he would have liked a part in Tom Hooper's Les Miserables film and that he might be returning to the stage soon.

"I did get a little tiny pang of 'I wish I was up there' when I saw the Les Mis film," he told the site, adding that he has considered returning to the stage in the West End. "I haven't seen a lot of the shows on at the moment, but Top Hat looks right up my street," he said, "but it'd be a lot of fun to do an original show and originate a character, so who knows."

Emmy, Tony, and Golden-Globe nominated star Matthew Morrison may best be known for his theatrical leading roles in Hairspray, South Pacific and The Light In The Piazza, as well as receiving international recognition for his role as 'Mr. Schuester' on the hit television show, GLEE. Morrison will be releasing a new studio album titled "Where It All Began" this June, produced by the legendary Phil Ramone (Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett) and featuring classic Broadway standards.

Morrison just performed a West Side Story-inspired musical medley at last weekend's 2013 Olivier Awards in London, in what was his first solo performance at a major event in the UK.
