Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) are pleased to announce full casting for Manhattan Theatre Club's new Broadway production of Terrence McNally's award winning play MASTER CLASS directed by Stephen Wadsworth.

Joining previously announced cast members Olivier Award nominee Sierra Boggess (Sharon) and Tony and Emmy Award winner Tyne Daly (Maria Callas) will be Clinton Brandhagen (Stagehand), Jeremy Cohen (Manny), Alexandra Silber (Sophie), and Garrett Sorenson (Tony).

The limited engagement of MASTER CLASS will play MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street) with previews beginning Tuesday, June 14 and an opening night set for Thursday, July 7. Tickets to the limited engagement of MASTER CLASS are on sale through Sunday, August 14. This production, which is offered as part of MTC's 2010-2011 subscription series, will be the first show to open as part of the 2011-2012 Broadway season.

Terrence McNally's award-winning play about Maria Callas (Daly) takes us to one of her famous master classes where, late in her own career, she challenges the next generation to make the same sacrifices and dare to rise to the same heights she did, making her the most celebrated, the most reviled and the most controversial singer of her times.

The creative team for MASTER CLASS includes Thomas Lynch (scenic design), Martin Pakledinaz (costume design), David Lander (lighting design), and Jon Gottlieb (sound design).
