Watch as profanity becomes profundity in THE IMPORTANCE OF DOING ART. When Jack and Art pose as artists for the sole purpose of getting laid it leads them to one of the big questions of our generation: what is so important about doing Art? This 21st century take on Oscar Wilde's “The Importance of Being Ernest” completely flips the mistaken identity genre on its head. Be prepared to laugh out loud at this fast-paced satire of modern life.

THE IMPORTANCE OF DOING ART features Tom Morf, Nick O’Neil, Sara Hendricks, Susannah Dalton. Paul De Vries, and Emily Ellis. It is written by Susannah Dalton and directed by Jose Ignacio Vivero, a husband and wife duo.

Established in 2009, PinPuppets Productions is a theater and puppetry company based out of Astoria, Queens NYC. PinPuppets believes that theater is not dead; it is the definition of alive. In these days when you can't even get a real person on the phone to place a complaint with the electric company, what a luxury to have living breathing humans in front of you, fervently believing in a lie, in the hopes that you will believe, too.
