First Look At Armstrong & Messing In LIKE SUNDAY, LIKE RAIN
A preliminary peek at the stage and screen stars populating the cast of the new indie romantic drama LIKE SUNDAY, LIKE RAIN has leaked, showcasing Green Day front-man and AMERICAN IDIOT composer/star Billie Joe Armstrong as well as recent SMASH leading player and upcoming OUTSIDE MULLINGAR Broadway headliner Debra Messing, among others.
A brief plot description for LIKE SUNDAY, LIKE RAIN is officially described as such: "A struggling musician (Meester) becomes the guardian of a 12-year-old music prodigy one summer."
In addition to Armstrong and Messing - who play Meester's boyfriend and the prodigy's mother, respectively - the film also features J. Smith Cameron and Julian Shatkin.
Of note, LIKE SUNDAY, LIKE RAIN is currently shooting on location in New York City.
LIKE SUNDAY, LIKE RAIN is written and directed by Frank Whaley (of Showtime's RAY DONOVAN). No release date has yet been set.
