FEINSTEIN'S AT THE REGENCY will present a special new series "Broadway's Brightest Lights" on Monday nights in October to allow the Great White Way's most talented performers to step into the spotlight. All shows are at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street). Michael Arden kicked off the series on Monday night, October 4, 2004.

Gavin Creel– MONDAY, OCTOBER 18
Mr. Creel will star in this season's Broadway revival of the musical La Cage Aux Folles. He most recently finished his run as Hollis Bessemer in the world premiere production of Stephen Sondheim's bounce. Creel received a 2002 Tony Award nomination for his portrayal of Jimmy Smith in the musical Thoroughly Modern Millie. He has appeared in the off-Broadway cult favorite Bat Boy, the City Center Encores! production of Hair, and Second Stage's The Mystery Plays as Joe Manning, which also was performed with Yale Repertory Theatre. A BFA graduate of the University of Michigan, Creel also starred in the American premiere of Honk!, toured the nation in Fame as Nick, and participated in various New York workshops including Spring Awakening, Hairspray and Wicked. His television credits include Eloise at the Plaza and Eloise at Christmastime, both starring Julie Andrews. Creel is a proud member of the Broadway Inspirational Voices. He is currently writing songs for this forthcoming album.

Dana Reeve – MONDAY, OCTOBER 25
Mrs. Reeve appeared on Broadway in the comedy More to Love. She has appeared Off-Broadway and regionally at such theatres as the Williamstown Theatre Festival, the Yale Repertory Theater, Joseph Papp's Public Theatre, Manhattan Theatre Club, Ensemble Studio Theatre and the New Jersey Shakespeare Festival where she most recently starred in The Crucible. On television, Reeve has guest starred on "Law and Order," "Law and Order: Criminal Intent" and "All My Children." She had recurring roles on the CBS drama "Feds" and the HBO series "Oz," and also appeared in the HBO films "Above Suspicion" and "Someone Had to Be Benny."

As a singer, she has performed on national television and at various New York venues. She sings the title song on the soundtrack of the Cable Ace award-winning HBO drama, "In the Gloaming," directed by her husband Christopher Reeve. Reeve, alongside ABC News correspondent Deborah Roberts ("20/20"), co-hosted "Lifetime Live," a daily talk show for women on the Lifetime network. With her husband, Christopher, she is actively involved in the fight for increases in medical research funding, and is an advocate for rights of the disabled. She serves on the Boards of The Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation and the New Jersey Shakespeare Festival, and is involved with the environmental organization, Renew America. Dana's book, Carepackages: Letter to Christopher Reeve From Strangers and Other Friends was published by Random House.

 FEINSTEIN'S AT THE REGENCY's "Broadway's Brightest Lights" series will have one performance each per night at 8:30 PM on October 4 and 11 and 9:00 PM on October 25. For these performances only, there is a $25 cover and two drink minimum. Jackets are suggested but not required.
