It’s like a round circle for the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien, bringing back Disney’s Beauty and the Beast to Vienna and especially to the Raimundtheater, where the Original production had its German Premiere back in 1995. Now it's time to unveil the company. We already met Belle, Marlene Jubelius, and the Beast- Dominik Hees, who are starring as the enchanted leading couple. In the absence of Director Christian Struppeck, the two served as charmingly funny hosts for the press conference.

The revised version will be directed and choreographed by Matt West (Bobby in A CHORUS LINE THE MOVIE) with Set design by Stanley A. Meyer, Costume Design by Ann Hould-Ward, and Lightning Design by Natasha Katz. Music by Alan Menken and Lyrics by Sir Tim Rice.
Sharing the stage with Jubelius and Hees are Roy Goldman as Gaston, Linus AL Baroffio as his topsy-turvy sidekick- Lefou, Oliver Huether as Maurice, Belle’s father. Wietske van Tongeren is returning to the Raimundtheater, starring as Madame Pottine, as well as Jana Stelley as Madame de L’amour. Simon Stockinger will be Lumière, Mathias Schlung will be von Unruh, and Birgit Arquin will be Babette.
