Fashion Photo of the Day 4/24/2014: Darby Stanchfield

Black and white is everywhere right now. It was so "in" last spring and it seems the trend (which is really a classic combination) isn't going anywhere soon. Yesterday's Fashion Photo featured a black and white ensemble with a spash of red, and today's is like seeing double. Darby Stanchfield looked like the belle of the ball in a black and white outfit by Sachin + Babi at the Television Academy Foundation's 35th Annual College Television Awards Gala.

I am usually not a fan of crop tops but I really love this one. It makes the big ball gown skirt feel new and fresh, as does the high-low hemline. The plaid pattern in the crop top is also an unexpected twist on a white top that adds a subtle texture. Stanchfield finished it off with tossled waves (always a good idea) and a bright red lip. I really love when red heads rock red and I just love this whole look!
