After becoming a pop culture phenomenon with its sold out premier at New World Stages in 2012, Forever Deadward: The Vampire Musical Parody is back! Praised by MTV, E! Entertainment, and Entertainment Weekly among others, Forever Deadward is a hilarious, intelligent pop rock musical that lovingly takes a bite out of everyone's favorite vampire series (and a few other pop culture icons along the way). The show will have a concert presentation for the forthcoming Off Broadway show on Tuesday December 16th at 9:30pm. 54 Below (254 West 54th St./646-476-3551) will host the preview concert for fans and press. The show playfully examines our culture of obsession and our obsession with the fantastical. For tickets go to: http://54below.com/artist/forever-deadward-the-vampire-musical-parody/.

Created and written by Ashley Griffin (with additional music and lyrics by Jeremy Ezell, David Mallamud, and Michael Sutherland) and directed by Gabriel Barre (Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party, Amazing Grace), the show had its first workshop in NYC in 2010 at the LABA theatre. The York Theatre Company hosted a triumphant industry reading on October 31st both of which, along with 54 Below, are proud to be part of this production's growth and development.

This mounting will feature Broadway talents including: Colin Hanlon (Modern Family, Submissions Only), Cortney Wolfson (Kinky Boots), Jenna Leigh Green (Wicked), Jared Zirilli (Lysistrata Jones, Sara Jean Ford(The Phantom Of The Opera), Stephen Anthony (Book of Mormon), Tyler Maynard (Mary Poppins, The Little Mermaid), Michael Padgett (Upright Citizens Brigade) and featuring Martin Landry (Dear Edwina) as Arrow.
