Help Legal Aid Society build a library for the Books for Kids Program
Thursday, November 13, 6:00pm - 7:30pm

Books for Kids provides new and gently used books to Legal Aid clients, who often have limited material possessions, toys, and especially books. The Books for Kids program strives to instill an appreciation for the benefits of reading in children ages zero to twenty-one and promote an understanding of the importance of creating a home library.

Legal Aid represents approximately 90% of the children who appear in Bronx Family Court, including children who have been abused and neglected by their caretakers and have been thrust into the foster care system.
Join us to learn about the Legal Aid Society's programs and purchase books at a discounted price that will be given to children this holiday season.

Giselle Blondet visita La Casa Azul Bookstore
