Esparza and Company Stars to Perform on FOX, April 5

Raúl Esparza and cast members from the Stephen Sondheim / George Furth musical Company, directed by John Doyle, will perform on FOX's new national morning program, "The Morning Show with Mike & Juliet" on Thursday, April 5th.  The show airs in NYC on Channel 5 from 9 to 10am.

Angel Desai (Marta), Kelly Jeanne Grant (Kathy) and Elizabeth Stanley (April) will sing "You Could Drive a Person Crazy," accompanying themselves on saxophone along side Matt Castle (Peter) on the piano.  The star of Company, Raúl Esparza (Bobby), will then sing "Marry Me A Little."

Company opened on Wednesday, November 29, 2006, at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre, 243 W. 47th Street.  The show recently celebrated its 100th performance and released its new Broadway cast recording on Tuesday, February 20th.  The musical features musical direction and orchestrations by Mary-Mitchell Campbell, set design by Tony Award winner David Gallo, costume design by Tony Award winner Ann Hould-Ward, and lighting design by Thomas C. Hase.

"Long before 'Sex and the City,' Company took an unconventional look at love and commitment in a complex modern New York.  The show is an honest, funny and sophisticated portrayal of five married couples as seen through the eyes of their mutual friend Robert, a bachelor evaluating the pros and cons of wedded life," state press notes.

Tickets ($111.25-$36.25) can be purchased at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre Box Office (243 W. 47th Street) or via Telecharge.com / (212) 239-6200.  Student rush tickets are available two hours before every weekday performances with a valid student ID and cash only.  The performance schedule is Tuesday at 7pm, Wednesday-Saturday at 8pm, Wednesday & Saturday at 2pm and Sunday at 3pm.  Piano by Steinway & Sons.
