Colt Coeur's PLAY HOTEL will present a staged reading of (Don't) Look At Me by Molly Goforth featuring direction by directed by Adrienne Campbell-Holtwith: Katya Campbell, Curzon Dobell, Erin Felgar, Meredith Holzman, Eric Loescheider and Erin Felgar and Kate Roberts of BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON.

As decribed by press notes for the show, (DON'T) LOOK AT ME is a "hilarious satire of traditional courting rituals. Madeline and Emmy are youngish, prettyish, clever, and gainfully employed. They drink the Barolo, eat the charcuterie, buy the handbags, get the highlights, and follow the trends and The Rules... and watch as their friends score boyfriends and husbands one by one. Madeline and Emmy are beginning to despair of reaching their castles in the sky...and then they discover Dolly. With the hopes that the men they're dating won't mind splitting their focus between Dolly's perfect body and their winning personalities, the girls use Dolly as bait. After landing a pair of eligible bachelors all seems to be going swimmingly until Dolly begins to show signs of independence-thinking, acting, and even online shopping for herself. Madeline and Emmy attempt to control Dolly's increasing rebellion, but Dolly finds an ally in Dawn, a QVC operator who aids Dolly in her thrilling bid for escape and its ironic aftermath."

The reading will be held Monday, March 7th @ 7pm. CoCo studio // 20 Jay Street, Suite 214 Brooklyn, NY 11201. RSVP to CCPlayHotel@gmail.com by March 5th.
