Equity and Broadway League Release Joint Statement on Talks

A joint statement has been released this morning by Actors' Equity Association and The Broadway League. Actors' Equity
Association and The Broadway League will continue Production Contract
negotiations today. The contract, which covers Broadway and touring
productions, was set to expire Sunday, June 29th at midnight. However, the
parties have agreed to extend the contract day to day while negotiations
continue.
The talks remain
productive and both parties are confident a fair and equitable contract will be
reached. No specifics on the outstanding issues are available at this
time.
