Engeman Theater at Northport's Broadway Concert Series to Feature Stars of GHOST, SMASH, MEMPHIS and More, 8/25

The John W. Engeman Theater at Northport announces its next special event in its ongoing Broadway Concert Series on Saturday, August 25 at 8 PM.

Produced exclusively for the John W. Engeman Theater by New York Casting Director Stephen DeAngelis, five of New York's finest performers will recreate some of their most memorable career highlights, display their great versatility and share amusing behind-the-scenes anecdotes. The Broadway Concert Series has to date showcased the talents of 125 different artists whose combined credits include the following accolades: 5 Tony Award wins, 34 Tony Award nominations, 11 Drama Desk Award wins, 50 Drama Desk Award nominations, 1 Emmy Award win and 5 Emmy Award nominations.

Performers scheduled to appear include Moya Angela (Ghost The Musical; The Lion King; Dreamgirls), Robert Creighton (The Mystery of Edwin Drood; Anything Goes; The Lion King; The Little Mermaid; Chitty Chitty Bang Bang; Jackie Mason's Laughing Room Only), Leslie Odom Jr. (Leap of Faith; RENT; NBC's "Smash"), Tony Award nominee and two-time Drama Desk Award nominee Nancy Opel (Memphis; Fiddler on the Roof; Urinetown; Ring Round the Moon; Triumph of Love; Getting Away With Murder; Sunday in the Park with George; Evita) and Tony Award nominee Brad Oscar (The Addams Family; Monty Python's Spamalot; The Producers; Jekyll & Hyde; Aspects of Love).

Musical Director/Accompanist for the evening will be Jon Balcourt.
