Elizabeth Flores, heralded dancer, director, and choreographer of the New American Youth Ballet, has created an original ballet adaptation of the Alison McGhee and Peter H. Reynolds bestselling book "Someday." Each page of the book is represented as a dance set.

This charming ballet will be performed with the lush, immersive sound of a full symphony orchestra conducted by Maestro Alan Aurelia; with music co-written by Ms. Flores and Dr. Alan Turry. While conceived as a Mother's Day tribute, the universal appeal of this ballet will resonate with parents, children, and family members of all ages - a new tradition.

Ms. Flores, known for her Father's Day musical "Triple Threat Dad" and her ballet where fathers wearing business suits and carrying briefcases accompany tutu-wearing ballerina daughters, continues her mission of connecting parents and children on stage rather than having a dance recital solely be a spectator sport.

The premiere of "Cervantes to Someday" will take place May 22nd at 3:00 PM at the Murray Kahn Theater Stuyvesant High School, 345 Chambers Street, NYC Tickets: $20 - Adults, $18 - Children and Seniors Email: NAYB.tickets@gmail.com Phone: 212-945-2926 newamericanyouthballet.org.
