Elizabeth Flores to Premiere New Ballet CERVANTES TO SOMEDAY, 5/22
This charming ballet will be performed with the lush, immersive sound of a full symphony orchestra conducted by Maestro Alan Aurelia; with music co-written by Ms. Flores and Dr. Alan Turry. While conceived as a Mother's Day tribute, the universal appeal of this ballet will resonate with parents, children, and family members of all ages - a new tradition.
Ms. Flores, known for her Father's Day musical "Triple Threat Dad" and her ballet where fathers wearing business suits and carrying briefcases accompany tutu-wearing ballerina daughters, continues her mission of connecting parents and children on stage rather than having a dance recital solely be a spectator sport.
