Elephant Larry, New York's critically-acclaimed sketch comedy group, is proud to announce the premiere of their all-new sketch comedy show, "Elephant Larry Presents The Dump," which will run for three performances ONLY. The show will run Saturdays at 7:00 PM: December 6, 13, 20; at The PIT, 154 W. 29th Street (between 6th and 7th Avenues).

This set of all-new sketches takes place in the most magical, beautiful place in the world: a garbage dump.

The New York Times called Elephant Larry "A hilarious multimedia mix of the deadpan and the maniacal. The sketches call to mind, variously, Monty Python, Kids in the Hall and Second City, yet they don't feel like knockoffs"; They have been New York Magazine's #1 Late-Nite Pick, and NYTheatre.com said, "How is it that every sketch is funny? One of the best shows you'll see in the city!"

Elephant Larry is a five-man sketch group based in NYC that has been performing to sold-out audiences, winning comedy awards, and gaining critical acclaim for the past five years. Their brand of humor focuses on fast-paced, high-concept writing, with refreshingly energetic performances. They are: Geoff Haggerty, Stefan Lawrence, Chris Principe, Jeff Solomon, and Alexander Zalben.

Their sketches have been seen online millions of times and have been featured on YouTube, CollegeHumor, MySpace, Heavy, Jib Jab, iFilm, Funny or Die, iTunes, Daily Motion, and many more.

In October of 2003, they won the first-ever Sketch Fights competition at Carolines on Broadway, claiming the title of "New York City's Best Comedy Writers"; In May of 2004, they were selected out of hundreds of comedians as one of Back Stage's Top 10 Comedy Best Bets 2004. In June of 2004, they became the only comedy group in America to win both the Audience and Jury Awards at the Bass Red Triangle Comedy Competition. In 2005, their original show "Boom" ran for nine months, and garnered immense critical acclaim. In 2007, their blog was named one of PC Magazine's Top 100 Favorites for the year.

They have played to sold-out houses at SketchFest NYC, San Francisco SketchFest, Chicago SketchFest, Best of the Best SketchFest (Portland), Spoleto Arts Festival, and at Carolines on Broadway, the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, and Madison Square Garden.

Tickets are $8, and can be purchased at BrownPaperTickets.com, or by calling 1-800-838-3006.
