Ed Harris Joins Julianne Moore in HBO's GAME CHANGE

According to the Hollywood Reporter stage veteran Ed Harris will join Julianne Moore in the cast of HBO's GAME PLAN film. The duo will play 2008 presidential running mates John McCain and Sarah Palin.

The film will be directed byJay Roach and will be based on Mark Halperin and John Heilemann's book about the 2008 presidential elections.

In November 2006, Moore made her Broadway debut in the world premiere of David Hare's new play The Vertical Hour, directed by Sam Mendes. She is most recognized for her appearances in films such as The Big Lebowski (1998), The End of the Affair (1999) and Magnolia (1999). Most recently she starred in the Sundance hit The Kids Are All Right, for which she received a Golden Globe and BAFTA nomination. Throughout her career she has been nominated for four Oscars, six Golden Globes, three BAFTAs and five Screen Actors Guild awards.

Harris has directed a number of Theater Productions as well as having an active stage acting career. Most notably, he starred in the production of Neil LaBute's one-man play Wrecks at The Public Theater in New York City. Wrecks premiered at the Everyman Theater in Cork, Ireland and then in the US at The Public Theater in New York.
