Bay Street Theatre's 15th Anniversary Benefit Gala, a black tie event, will be held at The Rainbow Room at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in Manhattan on Monday, March 6 at 6:30 p.m. The event will be hosted by Julie Andrews and Alec Baldwin.

The evening will include entertainment highlighting memories from Bay Street Theatre's 15 year history. Scheduled alumni performers include Christine Ebersole, Bebe Neuwirth, Tony Roberts, B.D. Wong, Debra Monk, Jon Robin Baitz, Kate Burton, Charles Busch, Julie Halston, Edward Hibbert, Danny Gerroll, Patricia Kalember and more.

"This is a great opportunity to bring some awesome artists and a terrific audience together to celebrate," said Bay Street Co-founder and Executive Director Stephen Hamilton. "The last 15 years have been an amazing journey, and on March 6, we're going to mark it with a party to remember!"

The evening's festivities at The Rainbow Room will also include cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, a sit-down dinner and dancing.

"Bay Street is like family to me and I am honored to be a board member," said the legendary Andrews, who helmed The Boy Friend at the theatre. "I am proud to have made my directorial debut there and look forward to celebrating Bay Street's 15th Anniversary on March 6."

Funding from this event goes toward supporting the 2006 Target Mainstage Season, The Comedy Club at Bay Street, KidStreet – programming for young audiences, The Picture Show at Bay Street and Educational Outreach Initiatives: Summer Internship program, Continuing Classes and the Young Playwrights Program, bringing theater arts education to students throughout the East End's middle and high schools.

Bay Street Theatre is a not-for-profit institution, dedicated to presenting new, classic and contemporary works of the highest quality, which challenge as well as entertain, speak to the diversity of the community and champion the human spirit. Bay Street's commitment extends to educational programs for all ages to foster the continued value of theatre as a vital art form for future generations.
