Dina Manzo to Co-Host Luau Event 7/19 In Honor of Upcoming Comic Play 'MY BIG GAY ITALIAN WEDDING'

Two months prior to the premiere of My Big Gay Italian Wedding – a comedic play, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dina Manzo will co-host a Hawaiian/Italian themed luau party on Sunday, July 19, 4:00 PM; 262 Ardsley St., Staten Island, NY 10306.

The event will be produced by Dina’s company Designer Affair and fellow Real Housewives of New Jersey cast-mate, Teresa Giudice will be in attendance.  Anthony Wilkinson who has written the play and stars alongside Scott Evans (of ABC’s One Life to Live) will also be on hand at this event. 

The play is scheduled to premiere on Saturday, Sept. 12th at 8:00 PM at the St. George Theatre in Staten Island, NY.  A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Lustgarten Foundation for pancreatic research.  


The plot of My Big Gay Italian Wedding revolves around the central character, Anthony Pinnunziato, a gay Italian-American from a large, closely knit Italian-American family.  Anthony’s family tries to meld their traditional values with his lifestyle resulting in a funny, touching and entertaining big Italian wedding. 

The cast of characters include and overbearing matriarch, a crazed wedding coordinator and a jealous ex-boyfriend that are sure to leave the audience laughing, crying and having a great time!
