A cast of Broadway favorites and rising voices will take the stage this spring for a special concert presentation of NASH: A New Musical at the iconic The Laurie Beechman Theatre. The performance is on Monday, May 4.
With music and lyrics by Kevin Cloud and a book by Hannah Benitez, NASH tells the story of a singer-songwriter who returns to her small Missouri hometown after Nashville's music scene chews her up and spits her out. Nearly thirty and back home with her grieving father, she must confront the life she left behind, including a former love and the stability she once rejected. She must decide whether to risk everything for one last shot at her dream or choose the safety of settling.
Blending narrative storytelling with direct address, the piece moves between past and present as the audience follows her journey through ambition, regret, and resilience.
The concert is produced by Ginger Snap Theatrics, led by Executive Producer and Founder Luke Gilmore.
