David Davila Will Return to The Beechman Six years after his first making his New York premiere David Davila will return to the Laurie Beechman Theatre to celebrate his vast songbook. The award-winning composer of Manuel Vs the Statue of Liberty, 52Songs, Vox Pop, and Promèsa presents a host of new songs, and old favorites with his regular band of merry collaborators and Broadway guest stars!

The concert is produced by Lone Star Theatre Company as part of their ongoing Texas Sings concert series which presents concerts of Texas composers in New York City. The concert is the start of their exciting seventh season celebrating Davila, their founding artistic director.
The concert is directed by Christopher Michaels with musical direction by Karl Hedrick. Guest performers to be announced soon.

David Davila is a writer and performer from South Texas. His works include MANUEL VERSUS THE STATUE OF LIBERTY, ANIMAL HUSBANDRY, CREDO, AZTEC PIRATES & THE INSIGNIFICANCE OF LIFE ON MARS, VOX POP, #52SONGS, ADAN Y JULIO, MEN OF GOD, and more. He is the founder of Lone Star Theatre Co.
